FAQ
Where are you based?
I am based in Stamford, a beautiful town on the southern tip of Lincolnshire, but regularly travel to venues all over the country and also cater to international bookings - these require a unique quote on a case-by-case basis due to the nature of international travel. Please do get in touch if you're travelling abroad for your big day.
How long have you been doing this?
I shot my first ever wedding in 2011 and have been hooked ever since. I've had a steady stream of weddings each year since, and combined with commercial photography work, has been my full-time income for over a decade.
How many photos do we get?
I don't ever limit how many photos I give you. I aim for a minimum of 600 from a full day's coverage, and 400 for a half day.
What's your turn around time?
In peak season, my usual turnaround time is 4 weeks for a full wedding album edit. You'll receive a handful of images within a couple of days to give you a sneak preview as well as some for the 'gram. If I finish early I'll give them to you sooner.
How will I receive my photos?
You'll initially receive a small handful of images within a couple of days of your wedding, just to give you a sneak peak of the highlights! This will then be followed by a password protected online gallery with all your edited images that you can share with friends and family, as well as a personalised USB stick sent directly to you. I aim to have this with you within 4 weeks.
We're feeling a bit nervous about the couple's portraits...
Rest assured, this is completely normal and you're definitely not alone in this feeling. My usual approach to work is light and candid and I'm more than happy to keep things casual for your couple's portraits. We can completely tailor this time to suit you and your personalities as a couple.
How do we book you?
A £300 deposit secures your date in my diary and means I will turn away any other bookings for the same day. If I have multiple enquiries for the same date I work on a first come, first serve basis so if you're keen to have me, please get in touch early to avoid disappointment.
Can we meet before our wedding?
Of course we can! I'm happy to meet for coffee (it's on me) to go over any details you'd like to go over. If you're a little further afield we can also arrange an online video call whenever suits you. I also offer a pre-wedding engagement photo shoot which is a great opportunity to get to know one another before the big day.
Do you have insurance?
Absolutely. I have full professional indemnity insurance and Public Liability insurance.
Can we print our own images?
Yes you can. Once you receive your digital images from me, they are yours to do with as you please. The private online gallery you'll receive as part of your package has a print shop built in to it - I receive a small commission if you order this way and my honest opinion is that the colour lab I use is far superior to any high street print shop you'll find, but you're under no obligation to print your images through me.
