When you book a wedding photographer, you're not just paying for someone to turn up with a camera and send you a folder of photographs a few weeks later. You're paying for the whole experience: the planning beforehand, the years spent learning when to step in and when to leave a moment alone, the backups and equipment keeping everything safe, the editing afterwards, and someone you can trust to spend part of your wedding day around your favourite people.
I keep things deliberately simple. Whether you need a few hours of coverage or want me there from morning preparations through to the dance floor, you'll get a clear plan, plenty of support and photographs that tell the story of your day without making it feel like a photoshoot.

Pre-wedding shoot

A couple of hours somewhere you actually like, having a walk, getting comfortable with the camera and getting to know each other before the wedding.
There's no expectation that you'll know how to pose or what to do with your hands - that's my problem. We'll keep it relaxed, I'll introduce a little direction as we go and you'll hopefully come away wondering what you were worried about in the first place.

FAQ
Where are you based?
I'm based in Stamford on the southern edge of Lincolnshire, but regularly photograph weddings across Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire and the rest of the UK. I'm also very happy to travel internationally - destination weddings are quoted individually depending on where you're taking me.
How long have you been doing this?
I photographed my first wedding in 2011 and have since shot more than 100 of them alongside my commercial photography work. So it's fair to say I've seen a few things go wrong - and learned how to deal with most of them.
How many photos do we get?
I promise a minimum of 550 images from a full wedding day, but I don't put an arbitrary limit on the final gallery. If there are more photographs worth giving you, you'll get them.
What's your turn around time?
During peak wedding season, my usual turnaround is 4–6 weeks. You'll receive a preview gallery within 7 days so you've got plenty to look through - and, obviously, something to post on the 'gram before your guests beat you to it.
How will I receive my photos?
You'll initially receive a small handful of images within a couple of days of your wedding, just to give you a sneak peak of the highlights! This will then be followed by a password protected online gallery with all your edited images that you can share with friends and family, as well as a personalised USB stick sent directly to you. I aim to have this with you within 4 weeks.
We're feeling a bit nervous about the couple's portraits...
Completely normal. I hate having my own photograph taken, so you're in very understanding hands. I'll give you direction when you need it, keep things moving and make sure we don't spend half your wedding day posing for photographs. A pre-wedding shoot is also brilliant for getting rid of some of those nerves beforehand.
How do we book you?
A £300 deposit secures your date in my diary and means I will turn away any other bookings for the same day. If I have multiple enquiries for the same date I work on a first come, first serve basis so if you're keen to have me, please get in touch early to avoid disappointment.
Can we meet before our wedding?
Of course we can! I'm happy to meet for coffee (it's on me) to go over any details you'd like to go over. If you're a little further afield we can also arrange an online video call whenever suits you. I also offer a pre-wedding engagement photo shoot which is a great opportunity to get to know one another before the big day.
Do you have insurance?
Absolutely. I have full professional indemnity insurance and Public Liability insurance.
Can we print our own images?
Absolutely. Your gallery includes full personal printing rights, so you're free to print your photographs wherever you like. There's also a professional print shop built directly into your online gallery if you'd prefer me to take care of it.
