Jason & Paulina's stamford wedding


Jason & Paulina got in touch just a few days before their wedding looking for some short-notice photography coverage at The Crown Hotel in Stamford.


Fortunately, they picked a very good evening for it. After capturing part of the celebrations at The Crown, we made the most of the light with a quick trip across to Burghley Park before finishing with a walk through the centre of Stamford and up Barn Hill.

Evening Wedding Photos Around Stamford



One of the advantages of photographing weddings in my home town is knowing exactly where to go when the light starts doing something interesting.


For Jason and Paulina, we started at Burghley Park around the Diana Memorial, where the low evening light was coming through the trees perfectly. From there, we headed back into Stamford for a completely different look around the stone buildings and cobbled streets of Barn Hill.


You don't need to disappear for hours to get this kind of variety. Burghley and Stamford town centre are only minutes apart, so we could make the most of both before getting Jason and Paulina back to their wedding.
